About us

An ancient home looking out over time

Le Terrazze sul Mondo began with a small house, bought some time ago and patiently restored to make a dream come true.

We wanted a place where travel slows down: just two rooms and two stacked terraces from which to watch the canyon, the rock-hewn churches and, in the evening, a sky full of stars.

We welcome you the way you would welcome a friend long awaited: with honest advice on where to eat, a hand-drawn itinerary and the key to your home in Puglia.

For Zenit guests only. From here you can see the canyon, the bridge and the Botromagno countryside with its archaeological excavations.

Two rooms, two points of view

Zenit and Nadir: the highest point and the lowest, with the same care in every detail. Both have fine linen, a private bathroom with handcrafted finishes, quiet air conditioning, fibre Wi-Fi and self check-in with a code.

Nadir Room

The most secluded and intimate room: a whitewashed barrel vault, a velvet headboard and sage-green linen. In the private bathroom, a rain shower with a wall of Apulian majolica tiles and a washbasin carved from a single block of fossil wood.

Zenit Room

The largest in the house, on two floors, with exclusive access to both terraces, from which you can see the canyon, the bridge and the Botromagno countryside. Downstairs, the living area with a fully equipped kitchen, a sofa bed and a second bathroom. Upstairs, the bedroom with a whirlpool bath for moments of pure relaxation. Both bathrooms have a rain shower.

Gravina and around

A town carved into tufa

Caves hollowed out of the rock, a bridge suspended over the void, a cathedral founded in 1095 and a countryside that smells of bread and wine. The B&B is in the historic centre: the town is best explored on foot, and everything else is a short drive away.
